SeaErra’s products and solutions are based on patented and proprietary technology in the field of image enhancement and restoration in scattering media. Methods are based on analyzing the physical image formation model and developing algorithms which reverse the optical effect.

More than 25 years of extensive experience in senior executive positions in the areas of high tech and life sciences. CEO , Carmel and Carmel Innovations funds Chairperson and board member of several public and private global companies. Board member of IATI – Israel Advanced Technology Industries Association.

Eyal Zioni

Co–CEO of SeaErra and VP Business Development at Carmel. Prior to this, he served as VP Sales, at Techjet Aerofoils Ltd., a world leader company owned by Rolls Royce, and as Business Development Manager at L.N. Innovative Technologies, Ltd. Eyal holds an LL.B. degree from Sheffield University, England, and an Executive MBA from the University of Haifa. He has been a member of the Israeli Bar Association since 1996. Eyal is also a Lieutenant Colonel (Reserve) in the IDF.

Dr. Tali Treibitz

Dr. Tali Treibitz

Tali holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Eng. She established the marine imaging lab in 2014 under the School of Marine Sciences in U. Haifa. Tali is heading the marine imaging lab in the school of Marine Sciences in the University of Haifa. Her research involves underwater imaging systems and computer vision.

Yael Eshel

Yael has taken leading roles within and outside the business world, ranging from being Israel’s Women Tennis champion to BD Manager at Bezeq Cooperation, COO and BD positions within startup companies and new ventures consulting. Currently Yael works with Carmel – The economic corporation of Haifa University. Holds an MBA from TLV University

Deborah Levy

B.Sc in EE, Technion. Previously, board designer at Elbit. Works as an algorithm engineer in the marine imaging lab for over three years. SSI assistant instructor with more than 1000 dives. 3 years experience of conducting experiments under and above water.

Yuval Goldfracht

Algorithms engineer

Yuval Goldfracht

B.Sc in EE, Technion. MSc at the Marine Imaging Lab, focusing on improving the visibility range in underwater images. Before joining the Marine Imaging Lab, worked in Intel as a circuit engineer in the Core group specializing in implementation of logical circuits. with extensive experience working with embedded platforms such as raspberry pi, Odroid, Nvidia's Jetson and embedded controllers.

Aviad Avni

Hardware and optics engineer

Aviad Avni

Aviad is an engineer at the Marine Imaging Lab at Charney School of Marine Sciences at the University of Haifa. After a long experience working in the industry (Intel), he joined the lab in 2016 to work on camera and autonomous underwater vehicles design and operation. He’s also a ROV pilot and an experimented diver. Diving instructor with experience in underwater experiments.

Ilan Mardix

Software Engineer specializing in automated flows, IT related solutions and integration of HW/SW systems. Worked at Intel from 1999 to 2016 in software development and as an integration-team leader. Has a B.A. degree in science from the open university

Dr. Derya Akkaynak

Mechanical Engineer

Dr. Derya Akkaynak

Derya received her PhD in Mechanical Eng and oceanography from MIT & WHOI. She has been a post-doctoral researcher in the Marine Imaging Lab for almost 3 years and is now a research scientist at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution

Lev Solomonov

CFO

Lev Solomonov

Lev is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BA degree in Ecomomics from Haifa University. In his past professional experience Lev served as a senior Auditor in large accounting firms such as Earnest & Young and Deloitte. Lev works today for Carmel – The economic corporation of Haifa University as its Chief Financial Officer.
